Sem 1 Course Drop Dates:

August 15-August 29 drop with no record of course on transcript/grade report.

August 30-October 8; drop results in a WP or WF (Withdraw Pass or Withdraw Fail) on the transcript/grade report.

October 9 and beyond: Students cannot drop a class during this time frame. The grade earned for the course will appear on the transcript.

If you need to drop a course, please contact your JVA counselor. If you drop a course, usually that means you would need another course in its place to have a full load of courses. We do not recommend adding a new course to your schedule after August 29 and we will not add a course to your schedule after September 1. The reason for this is that you are responsible for ALL of the work done in the class since school began on August 15. It is difficult to make up weeks’ worth of assignments and we do not want to set students up to fail.
